"Did my research for a good restaurant for our 31th anniversary. Casa Zibarita was an excellent choice, the Food, service and atmosphere are top notch. This restaurant not only competes with Italian restaurants in San Diego… this is way better. The restaurant has valet parking but a little tricky to get in, the restaurant is very very private and there no way for you or anyone else to see it if you are not looking for it. It’s tricky but totally worth it."

"My favorite restaurant in Tijuana…. By far. I stumbled across this restaurant because I friend and I were having drinks downstairs and a man at the bar said they make their own pasta upstairs…. So we walked up! It’s kind of strange to get to the door, and the restaurant is tiny.. but the food. I think I have gone a dozen times now, and have tried almost everything on the menu. And everything is absolutely amazing. On top of that the servers are always so helpful with recommendations. The only thing that’s been disappointing is that it’s hard to get a reservation sometimes."

For our main courses, the spicy vodka rigatoni was spot on—just the right amount of kick and flavor! But the star of the show was undoubtedly the short rib pappardelle; it was absolutely to die for! The tender short rib melded beautifully with the pasta, creating a dish that was both comforting and sophisticated. Overall, I can’t recommend Casa Zibarita enough!
